Family retreat with personal touch

Jessica Dalfonso, she went above and beyond to ship my son's jersey back to us after we left it behind. And Angel, who treated us like family, stepped out to say hi to my daughter, one of a kind service.

The room had damaged tile, but the check-in process was efficient.

The king suite was spacious and had a comfy bed. The room temperature was just right, but I noticed it was somewhat outdated. There was some wear and tear, especially in the bathroom. Had an issue with cleanliness since the room didn’t feel fresh. Also, I faced some smoke smell that lingered. Overall, it was okay, but definitely needs a refresh.

The hotel had a very comfortable bed and the breakfast options exceeded my expectations. Check-in was smooth, but the room left much to be desired due to lingering odors and cleanliness issues. Additionally, the housekeeping staff's frequent disruptions at early hours were quite bothersome.

I enjoyed a restful night in a spacious king suite with a comfy bed and great temperature control. The outdoor pool was a nice spot to relax, and I loved winding down by the poolside after breakfast. The only downside was that some areas could use a little freshening up, but overall it was a solid stay! 🌊

The common areas of Hampton Inn Slidell are well-maintained and provide a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally helpful, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I particularly appreciated the spacious layout that accommodated seniors.

More seating in the dining area would be helpful.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Staff

We enjoyed our time here, especially the friendly staff who made us feel welcomed. The breakfast options suited everyone's taste, and we loved the convenience of nearby parks for walking our dog. Just a heads-up, check room maintenance to make the stay even better!

The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast featuring a different selection of hot food daily, along with waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and muffins. There’s also a manager's reception a couple of evenings with free snacks and beverages, creating a nice atmosphere for mingling with other guests.

The beds in the rooms are old and uncomfortable, resembling something one might find in a sandcrawler rather than a hotel. Pillows fall flat-literally-being those cheap fiber fill types that leave you waking up with a stiff neck. The décor is outdated, which gives everything a worn feel, not to mention odd odors lingering in some rooms that ruin the overall experience. The vending machines offer Coca-Cola products, but it's annoying they only have bottles and not cans, as canned goods usually have better water quality. Internet access is less than stellar, with the need to log in daily becoming a real hassle during longer stays.

Located on the I-10, just okay for a quick pit stop in Slidell with decent value for the price. The breakfast had a few options, but the hot food was barely warm. Check out nearby dining options before arriving to save time.
